This game will go the way of every other that tries to copy the same old tired formula. Everyone has to learn the hard way it seems.

People that are against ascended gear have nothing constructive left to say. Don’t pretend that all the people raging and complaining have anything useful to contribute at this point. They’ve said their piece. The only thing they’re doing now is blindly insulting every decision ArenaNet is making, and even if ArenaNet came out and said they’re going to completely revert ascended gear, the ragers would simply jump down their throat by calling them a “greedy, pathetic” company for even doing it in the first place.

ArenaNet has their feedback, they don’t need people constantly saying the same baseless things over and over again just because they’re upset. Stop pretending such behavior is justifiable; it isn’t, and ArenaNet has every right to put an end to it.

I moved on to this one from all the other same old MMOs, but suddenly this one started turning into the same old thing they were. Forgive me for saying I liked it the way it was.

It was becoming a troll fest you lose a good conversation after the first 10 pages. There are other forms ppl can talk about this.

Yes, I stopped enjoying the game due to the complete change in design focus. The reasons why are out there in thousands of posts, including my own.

Yes. Try getting a group for regular dungeons. Experience how much longer it takes now.

Yes again. I enjoyed playing a game made by people who didn’t lie to the playerbase. That game is gone. Effectively everything I enjoyed prepatch, taken away.

“Other” field. Use it. Abuse it.

While I agree that all points have been fleshed out in the thread, the closing comment seems like they are going to completely ignore that the thread even exists:

“Please refer to the message from our Studio Design Director, Chris Whiteside, for our response to concerns about this issue.”

Seriously? No response to if they are going to review the feedback? It just sounds to me like they are just going to go ahead with this and there’s nothing we can do about it.
