Guild Wars 2

(first of all I am not sure if this is right place to post.. but w/e)

So I could say that I was overhyped of gw2 (got into closed beta and played beta) and even then I thought this is a game that I am going to play at least half year but I don’t know why I have not even still gotten max lvl. I really can’t find anything bad about gw2.. I just don’t want to log in lol. Maybe you could say that gw2 is not game for me.. but I wonder still how my mates all who started playing gw2 (+10 of them) have stopped except 1 and only hew of them got max lvl. When I ask about them why they are not playing gw2 anymore answer is something like ‘’I don’t know’’ and they start to talk about something else. + It is not just my mates just logged gw2 mist and it seemed to be dead I did not see anyone there. Checked twitch gw2 had only under 200 viewers total..

It kinda feels strange even this game feels so awesome I would rather play swtor and I find more flaws from swtor than gw2

Maybe this thread is pretty pointless.. dk about that but any others have this same feeling?

Hmm yeah u are right ^^

Because there are alot of options now,

They can only make so much content at one time people burn threw it and then need something new to do.

It’s not like the old days where you only had WoW or EQ and stuck with it because there was nothing else to play.

when i dont like a game, ie: diablo3, i quit the forum and the game at same time and i never looked back.
maybe ill pick up the expension or whatever.

but if i POST on forums its because i like the game.
i can post/suggest things that i would like to see improved, but overall, complaing that you dont like it doesnt make sense.

btw: this game is HUGE
and i cant get myself to play anything else that i really wanted to (xcom, dishonored) since i play gw2 !!

You are right. I have to admin I had a bit boring at moment so I posted here :s I am sry about that.

I post because I hope ANet will listen and improve the game so I can finally get my 60 dollar’s worth. Hopefully before the world ends. Unless ANet gives me a refund, I don’t have money to spend on another game so I need to hope they will make the game worth playing.

Wish people would stop saying that, I didn’t burn through content at all, there is so much I haven’t done. I play games with only 30 or so hours of content and I have played them many times for more than 15 years now, having the time of my life each time! Lack of “new content” is not an issue to me. Heck, getting “more of the same” gw2 stuff would only make groan because it’s so poorly made.

But on topic to the quote,

But you’ll note I said “there is still so much I haven’t done” and you’re probably asking “why don’t you go do it then, and get your 60 dollar’s worth?”.
To me “amount spent” doesn’t signify whether I got my money’s worth or not, I prefer quality over quantity. And I don’t want to go do that other stuff I haven’t done, because given my experience with the game, it will only leave me unsatisfied.

I agree with this guy but won’t hold my breath. apparently Anets answer to all of our problems is “…….” until they come out with the next game killing patch and then rinse and repeat. And from the lack of responses from the Anet Dev team it seems more like they’re not even going to attempt to even fix the current bugs that are plaguing the game but will instead implement an entire new batch to try and make us forget the old ones.

Best thing for them to do now is either stop ALL current development projects and have the ENTIRE team focused on fixing the issues that have been around since launch (or even before launch), fire their current staff which seems incapable of doing anything and hire some decent ones, or as a last resort turn the game and all rights to it over to a company that can actually make it a decent game worth the 60 bucks since they apparently can’t even do that.

Anyone who even THINKS about using these words “well it’s only been out for a few months” or “give them more time” and my personal favorite “they have a different team for each category” should stow it. These excuses are like butts. Everyone has one and they all stink.
