Guild Wars 2

I just got into GW2 this past January, and since then, have come to love the game immensely and made characters that I adore with all my heart. I’ve poured money, time, and passion into this game for these past nine months, and had no issues whatsoever in learning how to play, especially seeing as this is my first ever MMO.

For Anet to pull a bull**** move like this, eliminating the fun and immersion from the game that was so easy to obtain before, is like getting rewarded with a knife in the back. These poor decisions on their part are pushing me towards giving up the game completely, which is heaartbreaking to even consider. It makes me fear that this is just the first step towards the complete and utter downfall of GW2.

We were promised that the systems implemented in China would not effect the NA/EU servers. This has apparently been a lie that they were not keen on alerting us to, most likely because they knew the what the reaction would be. Now I’m afraid they’re going to pull more stunts like the VIP system, and if that happens, then most assuredly, I will not be returning to GW2. The levels of my upset are so high that I feel like I’m not even organizing this post as effectively as it should be.

Anet, I beg of you, please change the game back. Listen to your consumers for once and fix this.

Honestly I was not expecting anything of what hit .. it seems like they went out of their way to keep this kitten from us until it hit and of course there is no going back now.

Why do people keep tsking that statement out of context?

Thst statement is a response to the VIP system and so far I don’t see it in game, so stop harping on that statement as a justification for what you don’t like.

And datamined info showing the VIP item in the files do not count.

I will always love what this game could have been, but I hate what it is now. I’m in the process of finding a game to replace this one.

My personal theory is that ISIS and Al Qaeda mounted a combined attack on ANet’s headquarters and released the NPE as part of a coordinated terrorist action.

Its the only explanation for such total disregard and disdain for your playerbase ANet. Can someone go check on ANet and make sure they’re not being held hostage?

Do you know what a slap in the face is? I get the strong impression you are using it without doing so.

you know… i think the skill time-gating thing is a plot twist on us waiting and wanting new weapon skills…
