November monthly
I’m trying to get my monthly done and all I have left is fractals and killing a 100 more karka. However, it is my understanding that unless you are level 80, you cannot kill karka in Southsun Cove since it’s a level 80 zone? Is there any other areas where you can kill karka if you’re not level 80? I’m currently level 72 and don’t think i’ll make it to 80 by Friday. Appreciate any help, thanks.
Yea, Southsun Cove is your only bet. Maybe gather some lvl 80 friends to do it? What server are you? I may be able to help.
Thanks, I’m in fort aspenwood. However, I tried to join a group of 7 or 8 people, but I did hardly any damage to each karka killed with the group so I didn’t get rewarded for the kill. And it only takes one hit from the Karka to knock me down right now.

Hurry up and level to 80. the last 7 levels go extremely fast. For a couple gold you do it at the crafting tables in L.A. Then you won’t need an escort to the island.
Just kill the karka hatchling (these guys). They are fragile so even at level 72 you should be able to kill them, and they spawn in very high numbers, so it’s going to be easy to kill 100 of them. I accidentaly got the achievement when trying to go kill the Karka Champion.

Near the jumping puzzle, there is a cave where there is an event with a veteran karka egg layer. When there are players nearby, it will start laying eggs which hatches into hatchlings. With some careful pulling, you can just get the hatchlings, I think they come in 5-10 hatchlings per batch of eggs. Get a level 80 friend to help kill off the hatchlings after you have tagged them.
