Hey just wanted to let you guys know after updating to windows 8 and using the new beta driver 310.33 I getting around 20 fps average increase, I know they did a lot of performance enhancements in this driver maybe someone else can try and conferm it. I really doubt it was the new windows. Just for reference I’m running 3820 oc to 4.3 and a nvidia 680. Hope that helps some of you

You updated to a whole new OS that just came out. There’s a very good chance that it’s the Windows Omggraphicalextravaganza.

Yes but if you read reviews if windows gaming performance is around the same between the two and it wouldn’t take much effort for someone to ty the new driver and report back in win 7, just tryin to help people out

While I will try the driver, do remember that by updating to Windows 8 (asusming you didnt’ do an in-place upgrade), you also cleaned out your system which will potentially give you a good performance boost as well if its been a long time between re-installs.
