Has any else found that the drop rate for obsidian shards has decreased very recently in chests for Southwastes. If so where are some good places to farm obsidian shards now?

Doing Tequatl gives you 15,000 to 20,000 karma per event. If SW isnt producing spend your karma for them, and your laurels as well

There are several places you can get obsidian shards. Karma is by far the easiest, since you can earn karma everywhere. The mastery vendors in HoT sale them... bu I don’t think thats a good buy. Fractals is a good place if you have a tone of relics/pristine relics to break down.

Even with the lesser drop rate in SW, it is still the cheapest place to farm them.

This usually sells bags containing 5-10 obsidian shard bags for easy to get currency, if you are lucky you can get up to 30 obsidian shards per day

You can also get some in the guild hall by trading commendations and also from the ley matter energy converter.
