Off Hand Legendary Effects missing
I actually really enjoy Rodgort’s foot falls, what I would like to see is some way to choose which foot falls are prioritized or allow main + off hand falls.
Do you by chance have another legendary equipped on you main hand? I saw that you said it was your third legendary and the other two are 2H weapons. It’s possibly a bug and Rodgort is supposed to have fiery footprints.
I dont have a main hand Legendary, no.
There are footfalls for Rodgort, but they are very muted. A few small fiery bursts that quickly disapate. A run will show two at most. I should clarify, that its a request to have them made more obvious – basically if you have a single 1H Legendary, either main or off hand, for it to show footfalls like Sunrise or Kudzu. Also for it to have a weapon burst effect when swapped.
In an ideal world:
Offhand no Main hand, or Mainhand no offhand : Show ‘extended’ footfalls, and have weapon swap.
Two 1H Legendarys: Alternate footfalls, random effect of one of the two on weapon swap.
Legendary effect in the main hand will override offhand effects. If the weapon have a special swap/combat animation , you lose it too if used in the off hand.
I crafted 13 legendary .. you will get used to it too … i made Astralaria specifically for my Herald and i get half the effect .. so ..
Flameseeker got footprints recently , but you lose them if you equip a legendary in the main hand. Rodgort is unchanged since game launch but the same thing happen .. you lose the footprints if you equip another legendary weapon.

13? Nice Job mate. I am starting on Dusk…going to do the collection quest for that and farm most of the mats.
Here’s hoping that they implement the extra effects when they get a moment – the Revenants permanent rose coloured placemat effect being far more visible than an achievement that can take months is a little disheartening.

Thank you , but there is more you may want to know ….
Legendaries do two things … First is the animation you talk about .. the second is the death animation. You lose BOTH if you use another legendary in your main hand.
If you kill a foe with Rodgort you will get the ‘’ burning death animation ’’ but if you use Bolt in the main hand then you will get the ‘’ electrocuted death animation ’’ even if you killed your foe with a torch skill ..
see .. Main hand weapon override everything. Obviously .. you can’t have both effect at the same time .. so the Devs had to make a choice.
