Guild Wars 2

So since we now have official merch, I thought I’d gauge everyone’s thoughts on them, or if anyone has/will buy them.

IMO, it’s a good start what we have so far, and I hope we’ll be getting more in the future.

I’m going to buy them. Nice looking t-shirts.

edit: though exchange rate issues will stop me from doing it any time soon.

I want the holiday quaggan so much that it hurts.

I like the iam8bit stuff.

Especially the profession shirts, which appeal to me because to other players they’d be instantly recognisable, but to people who don’t know the game they don’t scream ‘video game shirt’ which means that I could wear one to work without having to try and explain an MMO to people whose only experience of games is Angry Birds.

I just wish the Ranger one was green all over (ideally a slightly darker green than the logo) instead of dull grey.

I think they need to add more plushies, and maybe other things like a necklace or keyring.

I have the mesmer tshirt from them (mens XL, I prefer loose tunics instead of form fitting). It’s comfortable, on the thin soft side of the regular tshirt cotton range (as compared to the thick rough feel of tshirts from The Mountain on Amazon, if you have any of those). Not quite too thin … it is opaque. Still I’m more likely to wear it under a sweater or overshirt than on its own because I don’t like my body shape to show.

For those of you who wear mens XL but want it to fit smoothly over your torso, you might want to order larger; I’d say this fits small. At least on the one sample I have.

I also have the holiday quaggan sweatshirt, in green. Also XL. The sleeves are a bit too long (infinitely better than too short) and the design is layered on in white applique or paint or something, so it could easily crack and flake off over the course of enough washings, but it’s been fine so far for me and certainly very comfy, as long as one doesn’t mind the tapering that such sweatshirt hems tend to have (again, I like loose tunics, I want straight or even flared out to mid thigh and seldom ever find that).

Sorry for the delay. Took a little googling but I found it. It’s not a thread started by Gaile, but she replied in it fairly fast to ask us to keep the ideas coming.

they need to add a 3X to the T-Shirts…big guys need bigger shirts…I’m built more like an actual Norn(just shorter)…bigger shirts are far more comfortable.

I don’t like looking like “big guy in a little coat”…lol

I would buy an Eir Stegalkin/Destiny’s edge figurine. T-shirts…not so much.

The posters and prints currently available are pretty nice as well. More of that kinda thing is good.
