Warhammer Online is going to be shut down……. So basically all those who purchased the game will end-up having nothing. So much for consumer rights…….
Anyway to keep it short, here is a nice quote I found from the internet from PC Gamer news commentators:
prmaguiar says:
I think whenever a MMO shuts down its servers, the developers should patch the game to allow offline single-player gameplay. Even if some or most of the quests don’t work. Just for the sake of keeping these beautifully crafted worlds alive. It’s a shame that something that had so much time and effort put into it will simply vanish, never to return. I’m sitting here playing *, and it amazes me how gorgeous the open world is, and it saddens me that one day it will be closed forever. And I honestly couldn’t care less about the “massively multiplayer” aspect of it either.
BadMantrA says:
would add having that and the bosses scale down to single player. I agree on that, after all, I recall paying full retail price for the game.
ANET you might want to consider this when the time comes for GW2 to be shutdown.
