Guild Wars 2

Firstly apologies if this has been posted before but I frequent the forums and have not come across anything yet on this.

I don’t need to learn how to play the game as I’m 2 years in almost now, but I used to find nothing better when away from the PC than reading through the prophecies and factions guides in GW1.

Not only did they contain guides on how to battle through the core story line, they also offered lore, armor and weapon guides, salvage information ie: what foe dropped what items and much much more to boot.

Now I know we have the video guides and they are fantastic in themselves but I’d really like to know if there is any chance of a guidebook that I can turn the pages on, in the near future?

Would be an extra way of supporting the company AND would be a great addition to any new and current guild wars 2 players.

Just be aware that the official guidebook came out when the game did, so it’s definitely going to be out of date in places.

I’m sure it’s probably still interesting, and doubly so if you’re interested in its historical value, but it’s something to be mindful of. (Which is going to be the case with most MMO books, really.)
