Guild Wars 2

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a GW2 update take so long as this one, or bog my machine down to such an extent. Still crawling along with 1 file to go, and I started an hour ago.

What’d you guys do, sneak the expansion in?

I would like to know what the update added too, and WHY THE HELL DOES “HOME-COOKED NOURISHMENT” CRASH THE CLIENT WHEN HOVERED OR CLICKED?

Perhaps there’s something wrong with your internet connection? Patch took me around 2 min and I only have average speed for my internet. Maybe there was a glitch in the download?

Not sure, to be honest. Normally that’s it for me too…a few minutes. A couple of guildies report similar slowness, while others report the usual download speed. Maybe it’s a weather thing.

I think that’s the “Home-cooked Goodness” something-or-other, they’re looking into it. I’ve been too busy leveling my elementalist to bother with the Dragon kitten tournament or whatever that is.

Anyway, based on some inquiries, this seems to be a problem on my end rather than Anet’s. I’ll be stopping by my phone company this very morning to pay my bill so I can check into the matter further. Wish I could bring my hulking charrior along to “expedite” the conversation.

Here is the game notes for what was actually added, in terms of a “sneak add” I’m not sure what they’d have done but as other suggested I feel it was merely your internet connection as there are times I get stuck at a file due to my 0.0KB connection speed.
