Apparently the level 40 personal questline is kinda broken. This is the part where you first meet up with the order you joined at 30. When you get to the instance entrance to start the quest where you meet up with all the representatives of each race. It takes place in old lions arch, even though the place was fixed up around the launch of HoT.

Just found this a bit strange that it sends you to the one old version of the city, instead of the meeting taking place in the fixed up version.

personal story 1-80 happens in the past, 1325 AE to be precise. the current year in game 1329. the fixed up version of Lion’s Arch didn’t come until 1328, so it makes sense for it to be the old version

Also, it was changed back to old Lion’s Arch due to popular player-demand.

Just took a character to that story instance and was reminded what an eyesore that version of Shantytown Lion’ Arch was. Good riddance!

The lion statue with the circling sailing ships is nice though.

This. LA at level 40 is showing the correct version since it is historical

i like still being able to visit old Lions Arch , Don’t change a thing.
