Guild Wars 2

Hey everyone,

I made a similar thread about 10 months ago because I was going to get back into GW2 but studies took over (this was after not playing for a year, so it’s been nearly 2 years as of this post). I’m back, and I noticed we’ve got a brand new expansion out now also..

So can anyone quickly summarize what’s new to the game, what the current end-game meta is like, etc. I feel like I’m starting the game all over again, everything looks so different

I would but that is a lot to summarize in one post. If I were you I would check out dulfy. Browse through there with skipping like skins and collections posts. Or just check out the wiki. You’re right it is a lot different now in a lot of aspects so I would treat it like starting over. Maybe make a new character and start over literally.

I’m considering it, I saw there’s a new class. As for PvP and PvE, what classes are good now? I was rolling a max level warrior and thief – I can imagine thieves have been nerfed into oblivion (as with all MMOs)

There’s been too many changes in 2 years to even scratch the surface on a forum post.
