I have both Gift of Mastery and Gift of Fortune in my bank, but never really had the money to buy zap and then craft Bolt.
Now what I would like to know is if I will be able to craft Zap using the mastery system which will be introduced with the Hot exp and then use my gift of mastery and fortune to craft Bolt.

They didn’t mention anything about changing the recipe for the legendary. I can’t imagine they would do something like that. There would be a lot of rage from people like you that have already obtained the other gifts needed. The new system is simply a new way to guarantee you get the precursor that you want for your legendary.

Read the page already and nothing clarify what I’m asking

It specifically says you can use the mastery system to craft precursors which answers your first question. As to your second question why wouldn’t you be able to use the other gifts required that you already have to craft the legendary since that is part of the process. I’m not sure what else you are asking for or where the confusion is.

The new collections will only be used to get precursors. You will still need gift of mastery and fortune to make the legendary after that. So it seems like you could do that

They talked about new ways to craft the precursors, nothing was mentioned of changing the gifts you need to craft the legendaries.
