Older looking People
I do want Elementalists that look like they’ve been around a few centuries to be honest.
I have a Norn ele who looks quite old. – grey hair and beard, quite distinguished. I don’t know exactly how old he is but he probably should not be gliding at his age.
But, yes, more age options would be good.
-snorts awake-
Huh, wha?

Possible on norn and charr of both genders. I guess you could make an asura look old and cranky too. I’d like to see older faces for humans for sure. Sylvari aren’t an old enough race yet.

es please… Sylvari.. maybe a bit of a wilted look..
But we dont have any human or norn head that are older than maybe 40.
Male models are better because they can look gruffy and scarred and you can utilize long beards and grey hair…
But in every city..the “old woman” looks not old, but coy. I think one of the two only old feeling models is a charr female. Then there was one asuran. Thats all.
which is sad.
You’re saying this as several posters have already responded with examples of older characters. What you probably mean is that you want more variety for an older look.
You must also keep the lore in mind. Sylvari don’t age like humans. There aren’t any “old” sylvari yet. They’re still a very new race.
Even the firstborn who have been around for a few decades don’t look much different from the day they were ‘born’/awakened.
Norn don’t age like humans. Norn can get much older and they tend to retain their strength well into their golden years.
Charr and asura are closest to human mortality, but even they tend to live a bit longer.
Human faces doesn’t allow you to make truly older looking chars. I do have a necro with gray beard and withered skin. While he looks, IMO, older than Redenaz example, he still looks like he is a younger man using a fake beard.
It is even worst when he talks. God, that boyband voice!
that it makes every other class in the game boring to play.”

Yeah voices and body really make it hard to have an older appearance.
You can have a older face with greying hair, but they will talk as if they are in their mid 20s. Got to make due with what you got.

Hmmm..
I can understand your request from a possible RP angle, but for those of us already seeing the wrinklage and gray hairs of ‘fully-cookedness’—Nope! Dun want it…I see that chit everytime I look in the mirror IRL..GW2 is my escape from all that..fantasy..fantasy…:P
I have a pet- I am a Ranger.
I have Avatar of Balthazar- I am a Dervish.
You can for Charr and Asura but most “older” humans and female norn look like they are young but with white hair.
You also have the problem with a fair amount of the dialogue in the game implying you are young.
Sylavari as a race aren’t old so it’s not surprising they don’t have old looking options. I don’t even know if they age at all.
The appearance of Sylvari changes depending on their personal development.
This means an upset Sylvari can “grow” upset-looking features.
This also allows for them to greatly alter their appearance over the years, Canach for example.
During the The Lost Shores events:

During HoT:

Caithe has also been seen to change.
During the “Meeting the Asura” living story mission.
We see a Young Caithe with shorter leaves as “hair”. and less developed armour.
Surprisingly enough she seems to have taken a liking to the appearance of Wynne:

Other examples are Sylvari who are seen to convert to the Nightmare Court.
On-topic this could mean that Sylvari can change their appearance as they age.
They may choose to appear like the Elderly Humans, with beards made of leaves or a physique that might not appear youthful.
Their leaf-like texture may also begin to appear wilted or even withered
