As it says on the tin.. anyone had the Ominous Egg drop for them before.
I have never seen or heard of it before and can’t find anything on the wiki about it

Did a new collection open up when you got it?

From the description it just sounds like a new weapon, and opening it will allow you select its form, which could just be its stats, or not. Only one way to find out.

Must be a new secret item Apparently it looks like you can choose any weapon type with it. Seems pretty cool

I haven’t gotten one but someone in my party in CS did. Never found out what it did though.

It opens up to a lvl 55 rare weapon.. 3 options . Vagabond, Survivor and Deserter.

Sounds like its come from the Lions Arch event tbh.. but I am pretty sure its a new weapon clicky.

Only issue for me.. it dropped on my lvl 80 necro.. whilst doing a lvl 80 event – Rotbeard on Cursed Shore.. darn fine loot scaling

I was going to say, the icon looks like the Orr skin set. Can you get the specs for the items you can get from it, by hovering over them? I’d love to see some stats (and what skins).

I wanna throw this up on the wiki, it’s so interesting. :o Get me as much info as possible if you don’t wanna do it, I’ll document everything up there.

I found something similar a few days before. Orr Pistol skin.

Yeah, I’ve started adding that one from the link earlier, but there are two other ones with different stats, so I need that info at least.

To start things off, we’ve added in some gear meant specifically to help you level your characters. These weapons and armor will provide crafters and explorers with access to some of the skins found across Tyria’s diverse regions. For example, if you’re lucky enough to come across the Cannon Law, you’ll be able to choose between two stat combinations and receive a level 36 rare rifle with the Krytan Rifle skin and stats that are a little more potent than most rifles of its level.
These items are intended for the up-and-coming heroes of Tyria. As such, they extend up to an exotic level of rarity, but they are all exclusively under level 80. You may find that early explorations of Tyria are easier the second, third, or twenty-third time around with some of this gear.
