Disclaimer, directed at the moderator(s) reading this:

Yes, I have already read the sticky post above.
Yes I AM reporting bots.
And Yes I have seen the latest reply in the sticky thread is old 7 months (!)

I have posted a few weeks ago, but my thread was closed within 5 replies.

BUT:

1) Since the last 2 Weeks i have seen more and more and even more ressource node botters, using teleporting hacks.
2) Today i have reported 10+ bots (and 9 within 10 minutes in Cursed Shore).
3) You really can (imho) see bot activity on a server, mine is Vabbi, by monitoring the prices on mithril and elderwood, also lotus roots.
My observation would indicate that arena net removed many bots 4 or 5 weeks ago (i hope to remember correctly, but something around this timeframe) and prices wennt up rapidly. I saw a rapid rise in bot activity and voila (!): primes plummeted at fast speed.

I really want to play Guild Wars 2.
It is fun, it is nice, it is made for various styles of gameplay.

But this fun is – at least for me, but i dare to bet not for me only – massively ruined by not identifying and banning those people.

Furthermore the are teleporting, also when engaged in combat.
I have had some strange encounters in WvW, when people suddenly disappeared during combat – and no it was not stealth.

I would also emphatically plead all honest co-players to not tolerate and report those cheaters.
I know they teleport in and out fairly quickly.
If i cannot rightclick and report them in time, i try to remember the name, do a party invite and use the pending character thumbnail to report them.

I do not know how many i have reported already in this server, the smallest of them all, though i would guess the number has to have 3 digits very easily.

Another word on where thos cheaters are:
Surely in Malchor’s Leap and Cursed Shore – but i have seen them in as low zones as Wayfarer Fotthills, Lornar’s Pass, Dredgehaunt Cliffs or Gendarran Fields.

It is annyoing, it is bad for the fun in game, it is bad for the server economy.
And, dear Arena net: IT IS BAD FOR YOUR OWN BUSINESS as these are most likely account hackers and gold sellers…

Best of thanks in advance for not closing immediately.
Hopefully there will come some good hints for you in this thread.

Paranoia much?

Yes it is disturbing, but I won’t lie saying that I’d rather keep my T5/T6 mats at sane prices.
I’d actually buy gems from Anet for the first time, to purchase a bot ticket and return a bot to farm more powerful bloods.

1+1 = potato

I do not guess, it is paranoia.
I have seen this in eve online where prices for many materials rocketed past massive bot cleansings.

And so far i have reported 5 more bots since my last posting.

There is no way to permanently stop bots.

They will always, always, always come back.

As players, the only thing you can do is report them.

There is no new information to share about bots, “they’re back” and “they are still here” is already known information because they always, always, always come back.
