Guild Wars 2

So a couple of friends wanted to go over some old S2 achievements, I was looking on dulfy at this one, and apparently it was bugged but later fixed, we tried it as a 3 man party, and we had no chance of completing this,

Twice the NPCs where dead before we even got near the location and the last time we got there the enemies spawned and destroyed them before we could even respond, is this Achievement bugged again does anyone know?

According to dulfy its easier to do this solo, I don’t see how, the enemies that spawn seem to ignore you and just hit the NPC’s.

I’ve never been able to do it, but only tried about 3 times. I gather it scales so that it really needs to be solo. I was thinking of using fire elemental powder and the ogre pet whistle when I try it again. Maybe even the seed turrets (put the seed turrets down at the sites first maybe).

I did it with two friends as while back. A large part of it is knowing where everyone you need to save is and who you need to go for first, as I recall. Some of them are in more danger than others. Took us several tries to work out a plan.

Splitting up helped to kill of the enemies engaging npcs in time.
