I am growing more and more convinced that “on-crit” voice lines (such as human male’s “Here’s one to remember me by”) are triggered when a mob hits a crit on me, not vice versa. I seem to hear them every time they take a chunk of my health.

I have no proof whatsoever, it just feels like it works that way, although lines themselves, like the one above, suggest the opposite.

Am I dreaming this or are they bugged?

There’s a lot of issues with voice lines. My ele only says attunement lines when he gets thrown out of the mystic forge lol. Otherwise he won’t say “air,earth, water fire”

Yep, noticed this myself and it’s been a bug for a very long time! When you’re standing doing nothing in the world (for looking at map or whatever reason) and you get a Skritt throwing a bottle at you, the last thing your character would be saying to them “You’ll be feeling that one for days…”

I do hope one day it gets fixed!
