Hi guys,

So I’ve been thinking about lvl 80 builds for a bunch of my characters and am constantly disappointed by the lack of diversity in armor stats I can craft/acquire.

Given that you only get 3 stats on armor/weapons, being able to min/max stats for maximum build effectiveness seems to be a big problem.

For example, I wanted to make a tanky/condition build ele (since I keep getting destroyed in dungeons). Is there any cond/toughness/vitality armor? Nope.

I wanted to make a high vitality, power and precision guardian. In pvp? Fine, use Knight’s armor. Knights armor in pve? power, precision, TOUGHNESS…. Where did all my vitality go?

Moreover, any armor with Healing power on it is essentially useless since Healing power scales so, so, so horribly.

What are your thoughts on the matter?

Yeah… It’s a little annoying how certain set of stats aren’t there. :/

I’m only responsible for what I say, not for what you understand.

In PvE I don’t see it as a limitation. You have 13 or 14 pieces at a time that have stats on them. So combine your pieces to get closest toward what you want. 3 stats on each item, plus the upgrades, 6 accessory items to choose. You may feel “forced” to have an extra stat bit of a stat you don’t love, but you can always get a workable set.

It’s harder in PvP where there’s only 1 piece of gear with stats and the 6 runes you can apply.

By design some stats combinations aren’t in game, to facilitate balance and force players to choose tradeoffs when selecting the amulet.
