One day of GW2
I do dailies. Then wvw. In the last weeks I also do LS achievements or Dry Top farming if my daughter is online who then accompanies me. Before the April 15th patch I would have levelled another character but that is broken now because of the new trait unlocking system. On Sundays I do guild missions. And if it really overcomes me I may be seen doing a dungeon. But only if wvw is not an option (that is if we are matched against SFR – fed up with that matchup since tournament season 2).
Well.. I play the game… gather stuff, level a character, work on some achievements, maybe kill some world bosses.. nothing special.
Currently playing Heart of Thorns.
Three days a week we do stuff with the guild. Two are for guild missions, and one is community night, where we do different things.
After that we do whatever anyone wants/needs. It’s a group decision. Today, after the guild mission we run some dungeons. Last time after the guild mission, did some of the LS achievements in the new LS.
Other days I do dailies, work on monthlies, daily crafting, and whatever I’m in the mood to do. A lot of my time lately has been spent in Dry Top because I’m enjoying it.
1. Solo Arah for fun
2. Realize it’s not fun after the 100th time
2. Ask in g chat for Fractals
3. Get frustrated that no one is available
4. Skyrim
5. Do a Fractal
6. Log off
Here’s what I tend to do:
1. Structured PvP with a bit of WvW afterwards
2. Map completion
3. Trying out the other professions in case I get tired of my main
4. RP with friends (rarely)
5. Guild missions
6. Dailies/Monthlies

log out
As I usually only get one day a week anymore?
- Log in and say hi to folks, figure out if anything is going on I can get in on like dungeons or something.
- Failing that, start finding a world boss about to come up and go there. Follow the chain down the list, and this usually cleans out my Dailies.
- Sit back and ponder what materials I want/need and go gather some things. If I don’t feel it’s critical, I’ll craft a few things for skins.
- Realize I probably spent six hours playing when meaning to play for two and log out as I got work in the morning.
I seriously don’t know how people manage to fit so much in to their play time, usually I just have to choose one of the following:
- complete the dailies
- do a couple of minor world bosses
- try and find a dungeon group
- complete a personal story / living world step
- level my crafting
If i’m lucky the dailies come whilst doing one of the others. Usually not all 5 though.
Well, my day consists:
- World boss train, so that I’ve defeated each boss that is possible to defeat in the train atleast, one time each boss, mostly to avoid incurring DR.
- Gather all nodes from Cursed Shore, once.
- Free of schedule time, visit some lower lvl map and collect nodes, etc.
I rarely do PvP or Hard PvE, unless it’s organized.
Just daily Tequatl runs for me. I used to do dungeons, but it got to repetitive. Tequatl gives enough rewards that it puts me closer to a legendary than dungeons.
My days mostly consist out of leveling alts, doing events/living story on level 80 characters, completing maps and RP.
And sometimes (okay, hardly.) do wvwvw, dungeons or pvp. (I would love to do more dungeons, but I really dislike pugs as I often don’t know the ‘routine’ and a lot of these pugs just don’t explain even if you ask and call you names instead >.> )
The mysteries dissapear and life stands explained.”
Now I set the Spvp into daily basis too some karma farm.
1. World boss farm. I tend to ignore Triple Wurm or Teq though.
2. Dry top farm until I get freaking bored.
3. Get dailies done. Normally i get them as I’m farming/doing bosses so no big deal here.
4. Craft stuff for my Light of Dwayna (I hate it).
5. If I’m still in the mood I level up my new Mesmer.
- Log on in morning see whos online
- Do some world bosses ( bar the ones who have had terrible loot since day 1, Shatterer, Jorlag etc )
- Head to dry top to do some farming
- Check dailies are complete
- See if any monthlies need finished
- Consider doing a Fractal until I remember the scaling is broken and the loot is terrible
- Log out and play a another game,
Its actually quite funny because ive read on here several times people saying there is loads to do in game, but really is there, we had a big convo on TS the other night about this, once you’ve done world events, ran a few dungeons, the game is kind of stale, I think Anet need to count themselves dam lucky that there really isn’t another massive MMO otw to market, or they’d be hurting, nearly everyone I know has left this game due to it being stale/ not going anywhere.
1. Log in
2. Hours of WvW
3. Log off
1. say hi to guildies
2. join ts3 and follow guild schedule (pve/pvp/wvw)
3. or do my own stuff like crafting/exploring/map completion
4. converse with guildies about stuff
5. log off after saying goodbye
Each day is a chaotic mix of a lot of stuff, never one day the same. Mostly PvE though, sometimes some sPvP.
The Knights Temple [TKT] — Aurora Glade
Check to see if guildies are on, and if so if they want to RP or do dungeons or whatever. We have a couple of semi-scheduled RP evenings a week as well. Right now I’m slowly gathering Foxfire Clusters by rotating a bunch of 80’s through Orr, leveling an asura necromancer via the daily, and pondering taking more alts through the PS for chest keys so I can see what I find in buried chests. I’ve already got my exploration gold star on two characters, so I’m not doing that any more, thenk hew verra much. I sometimes page through the wardrobe considering new looks. Yeah, the game’s not sucking up my time as it did at the start, but then it wasn’t designed to require every waking moment to keep up with it.
When I need a break I work on TESO, as I haven’t reached level cap there yet, or peruse forums or just play solitaire games. Or clean up the house or go visit friends … I’ve only just resigned/retired and the slow pace is feeling soooooo good. I’ve even bought GW1 so my guildies can walk me through HoM point stuff (so far I’m just barely into the Searing).
These days I rarely play unless I have a day off, so I catch up on the living story and explore new stuff / new zone and if I run out of stuff I want to do I browse the forums to see if I missed some things and what others have to say about the story. Other than that I play with my armor, catch up on personal story, or make a new alt, delete the alt, make a new alt, delete the alt… it’s complicated.
I forget what the skills and traits do in between playing sessions so I’m not confident about doing more serious stuff than that.
I’d play with my husband when he logins, but he’s na and I’m eu.

There,s a lot to do in open world but it gets boring, it’s all the same kill x escort y collect z no ,matter where you are. I wouldnt mind so much IF the story and npcs made up for it but they dont. I wish open world had deeper quests and storylines, because that’s where I’d like to play the most.
1 – EotM for a chance at ascended armor box (yeah right, like that’ll ever happen).
2 – wait on solo arena que to pop while doing #1
3 – if I get my butt handed to me too many times in solo arena (hours), proceed to #4
4- log into PvE Ele and continue acquiring t6 mats for whatever Ascended i’m trying to craft.
There’s too much farming in this game.
1- Begin livestream…
2- Do the dailies
3- Talk to people in chat while doing dailies
4- Find interesting spots relative to GW lore and talk about them briefly
5- Invite viewers to join me in dailies
6- Finish dailies / living story episode as the case may be
7- Stop livestreaming…
8- Hang out with folks till time to log out.
“Doing The Dailies " Weeknights at 8PM EST.

Dailies
Random events
Random bosses
Farm materials
Work on map completion for alts
Once in a while i’ll do a dungeon run
1- Check LFG for already started dungeons /none/
2- Do an aetherpath from start, fail because the illiterate guy who makes ooze part impossible is the host…
3- Host an aetherpath and finish it.
4- Join a 2-3rd map Fractal.
5- Repeat 4) on different fractal scales, meanwhile doing some forum pvp.
6- Play real pvp in some other games.
Like many here, I only have enough free time to log into the game a few times a week, so I try to spend my limited time doing things for fun. This can include:
Living story steps – definitely enjoying the new season, and I can progress the episodes in small pieces which is nice.
Dailies & Map completion/levelling – take an alt, head to a map they haven’t completed yet, and work on both the daily and the map completion.
WvW – usually on a weekend where I have a good block of time available, and I’ll often work on my dailies at the same time.
While I’d like to do dungeons and fractals on a more regular basis, I don’t feel comfortable committing to a group that does these given that I sometimes have to log off at short notice.
I have tried fractals and spvp and w3 but it won’t be introduced in my daily basis…
1. Do Tequatl with TTS on zerkthief.
2. Do Triple Wurm with TTS on condi ranger/zerkwarrior.
3. Craft Clay Pot and both food types, sell for lulzy no-effort money from the respective characters.
4. Do 1 set of fractals on celestial ele. (Only if in a good mood)
5. Run dungeons with zerkthief trying in vain to match the number of Dragonite I got from #1 and #2 with Empyreal Crystals.
6. Chop wood nodes on all characters for moar foxfire.
7. Coordinate Dry Top until my instance reaches Tier 5 (Only when running out of Bricks of clay for #3).
8. Make only Damask and Deldrimor Steel because I already have too many of the other 2.
9. Wonder why people complain about exotics being expensive.
10. Make Ascended gear, then complain on Lion’s Arch about the absurdity of repeating overly easy content to get better gear to make it even easier than it was. (Only when there’s enough Damask/Deld).
On the day I run out of Ascendeds to craft (which will probably be before the end of this year), I’ll probably just do the Wurm and Tequatl for fun then logout.
Everything else is starting to become too boring at this rate. At least those two fights require more than one hand on the keyboard.
