Is that the execute abilities (abilities that do more damage the less health your foe has) usually have the word “mercy” in the title.

The definition of “mercy”: compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm.

Doesn’t make sense to me.

You can look at the use of ‘mercy’ in another way; putting someone out of their misery. Instead of torturing them even more, you make it swift.

BTW, what skill would that be? I know of Final Thrust with the Warrior but that’s about it. I’m guessing it’s a Guardian skill?

Edit: Huh. Turns out it’s a Ranger skill.

Yeah mercy has more than one definition and it fits one of those in the context stated by DaiBish
