Only 3 unid dyes out of 100+ duplicates?
Do you mean you had a load of duplicates stored in your bags ready for the free unid replacements?
If so, you needed to have them actually used on characters.
I stored them all on a character till the update, logged in that char, got in mail 3 unid. I said ok, so I moved them to my main char where I unlocked 99% on my dyes, logged out, logged in again and no new mail.
Like the second post said, you had to actually USE the dyes on your alts and not just have the consumables in your bags.

Ummm…they reworded unid. dyes for duplicate dyes you had placed on multiple toons. If you never bound the dye to a toon then you wouldn’t get anything for them. Think it through, they were compensating for people who used multiples of the same dye back when they were soulbound. Those people couldn’t get them back. In your case it sounds like you just had a lot of dyes of a certain color and never actually bound them, you weren’t “stuck” with them and therefore were not compensated in any way.
It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
