Hi,

just saw there’s new shared inventory slots, which is great. But is there a reason we can only buy (as it seems) three? I need more of them, but I’d much prefer to buy five, especially if this is just a bug and I’d end up wasting gems otherwise.
Or does it have something to do with the free slot we got from the Lv80 boost?

You can buy 13 in total for access to 14 (1 free from ANET with HoT purchase).

You can buy 13 and get 1 free one with HoT. I bought mine 5 at a time, but haven’t been in-game since this update to see the gem store.

Wait for 5 if they are not showing, it’s cheaper.

Yeah I meant that; I already have 10+1 and now we can buy three more for a total of 14. I was wondering if that’s intended or just a mess-up that we’re not able to buy 5 more and if it’s not if there’s any particular reason we can only buy 3 now.

I have no idea why they’ve only released 3 more.

I assume eventually we’ll have 20 total, so 19 for sale plus the free one. Although that’s based on my assumption that the software doesn’t allow for more than 20 slots in a ‘bag’. If that’s not the case they could in theory allow us to have an infinite number of them.

So releasing another 4 would make sense – that would make the current total 15 and allow them to release another 5 later on. But 3 brings the total to 14, which just seems odd.

13 is the new limit (plus the free one). For now. Until they need another cash-burst.

You can buy three more as it’s meant to be a tie-in with their new Unbreakable Tools Pack. “Buy the set of three unbreakable gathering tools, and put them in the three new Shared Inventory Slots we’re offering! Yay!”

Too bad I already have infinite gathering tools (and about 220 frostbitten ones).
