I have two questions regarding this topic. Would be great to get an Anet rep to answer definitively.
1. Guild Influence Bonus – The GW2 Wiki says you get a influence bonus doing events if 2 or more people are ‘grouped’ – now, does this mean you are literally in a group or just 2 or more people from the same guild simply doing the same event at the same time? Has anyone tested this and knows a definite answer?
2. Drops changes due to Grouping – I’ve heard sporadic people mention that if you invite people into a group and do events and kill open world mobs that the drops you get will get better and/or more of them? When I ask for proof of this claim I get a lot of ‘personal experience’ responses which mean nothing if there isn’t a very very large sample size in order to pull from. Is there an Anet response on this to confirm or deny this point?
