Just curious on the general feedback and opinions on the theme of teasers ArenaNet is doing.
I hadn’t seen much conversation about it. But in my opinion the teasers aren’t that great in any way. Yes they do tease but not in the good way. It seems more so a marketing ploy instead of content showcase.
Any differencing thoughts?

I think they are pretty cool, but it seems (to me) kinda wasted on a small-ish percentage of the player base. Assuming you’re talking about the raid stuff.

I want to be excited but it’s possibly content I will never play. LS3 is what I am looking forward to and it seems like it has been forever since LS2.

All they are teasers, not interesting to many. They rarely amount to any significant change to most players in my experience and are for(as noted above) for a small percentage.

Too short. Too cryptic. There isn’t enough in them to start real speculation so people watch them, then forget them. They don’t generate a buzz of comments.

There’s not much to the teaser, but the new Blogs (and videos showcased within) are interesting to me, and I’ve not been in a Raid. (And probably won’t any time soon as it seems to have the same aura as PvP, in that one must be ‘up to par’ to participate.)

I enjoy teasers, but this most recent one was pretty forgettable.

Yes I was talking about the ones mainly appointed to raid content. Which for your information isn’t such a small player base as you’d think.

I think they should stop the current way they’re doing teasers and add it into a “quarterly update” tease. which is maybe 30-45seconds long, or ~10-15seconds per major content piece.

I’ve been underwhelmed by the teasers they have done as of late. If your in to raids I guess it could be hype inducing, but for me they are not, not even a little.

It doesn’t have to do with PvP Stronghold, haha. It’s the Third wing in raids.

On that one, wayyyy to much time showing the ANet emblem and the HoT emblem plus the advertisement to buy HoT as compared to the few seconds of actual teaser.

*whatched again and yeah.. that is the white mantle flag there to so pve/raid related, i dont do pve. X)

This. This is also why I’m not a fan of teasers in general (like for movies). I’d much rather have an actual trailer.

Too much Anet/HoT logo not enough substance.
