I did want to post in the feedback specialized threads but the subjects are so interlinked that i ended up discussing different topics than the feedback topic. So i’ll just collect them here. (apologies if that makes the persons collecting feedback work a bit more or for language mistakes)

1. Traits system for leveling new characters: The new system gimps low levels and creates a larger gap between 80 and low levels. i.e. welcome to more instant kick players lower than level 80. The game design through the downscaling aims to close the gap between level differences and this works totally against that, as the real strength of chars is in the builds. Further this choking of traits on low level will discourage players from leveling new alts. Suggestion: make the trait system opposite of what it is now. reward most of the traits at lower levels and have like 2-4 traits for the final 10-20 levels. This will make players more familiar with their class design and potential (it also works really well combined with the instant re-trait new system), also will close the gap even better between level differences and encourage different levels to play together again in dungeons instead of instant kicks.

2. Nerfing Crit Damage: The pre-patch notes said a 10% total damage output, but when a build has 80%+ crit chance the total nerf is around 30-40% in the total damage thats huge nerf. Personally i don’t mind giving room for different builds other than the berserker builds (that is good thing to open up the dead option builds). But this is an interlinked topic that cant be handled from a single side. It will definitely help in wvw, but… Did you remove the dps meters that you have put in many of your PVE contents? Did you raise the effectiveness of other stats? (most people go towards direct dps stats because the effectiveness of the survivability stats is just so low compared to higher dps) Did you fix the condition stacks on bosses which makes having more than 1 condition player start to lose effectiveness of the party? Did you tone down the HP of mobs or how hard they hit? (speaking mainly of high lvl fractals here) on the contrary you added more time limits to complete events which measures again to a more dps meter. Suggestion: Please handle this subject from all its sides not just pick the easiest option and nerf a certain stat to the ground.

3. Wardrobe: This system is really good addition to the game. However, losing the locker preview of skins or losing the 2 different looks per character for PVE/PVP was not needed. People get bored of the same look anywhere they go in the game. Players will hardly spend charges every time they go in PVP or switch back to PVE, which leaves them having multiple sets of armor and weapons cluttering their bags for this purpose. Also jumping in HotM and back to another map for bank isn’t really adding anything good. Suggestion: Make the PVP look separate than PVE look with an option to use your current PVE look, and about time to add a bank access in heart of the mist.

4. Megaserver: Though this is not fully yet experienced system, but please don’t turn this system into a more confusing one than the overflow where dialogues as: where did you land.. oh cant find you.. hold on not working to join there.. oh just forget it scenarios… etc…

5. Dungeon reward: If anything i heard from all of the players i met in this game is that the effort and time spent doesn’t match the item rewards at all (in fact i know quite a few that quit for other games because of this aspect). I don’t know how wise it is to nerf that thing even more.

The rest of changes personally i didn’t experience them well yet to comment but they look promising like buffing some useless runes and sigils into potentially better ones. more incentive for pvp, less grind for pvp ranks and account wide wvw exp. Though i really loved to see less grinding for ascended gears (especially in a game that promotes so many different builds and options) silk? dragonite ore? i’m sick of them
