Option to Pay Gems to Keep SAB
Part of the enthusiasm for SAB comes from its rarity. Make it available all the time and people will grow tired of it. (Even today, the number of people on my lists — friends, guilds, & ohai even block) has far fewer people in SAB than on the 30th.) Even the most hardcore fans can only play it for so long.
Plus, even now, there have been a few thread of people complaining that there wasn’t enough to do.
I’d rather ANet used its limited resources to come up with a summer festival, instead of worrying too much about existing ones.

Don’t forget that in many ways SAB is a hack of the game. Each year it comes out it seems they have to go in and fix bugs which were created by their standard updating of the game and its engine.
Having it available to players all year as a purchased product would mean that they would have to constantly keep updating SAB to ensure its playable while also trying to develop new content for the rest of the player base.

This is exactly why they will not make it available year round by any means, as they said last year. It causes too many coding issues each patch. So it will get attention once a year in its own patch, and that’s it.
no thank you do not want it in the gem store or in the game . and will be glad when it’s gone the end of the month . not even done any of the stuff for sab at all and plan on not doing so even tho they made a rank for it . things like this is what makes me not want to play the game any more at all

Yep, they would get bored. It would be better to only appear every 2 yrs. But perhaps as an app on an smart phone emulating a nintendo.
Well, if you like 8-bit Guild Wars 2 stuff, try that_shaman’s Kart game. No need for Gems, either.
