Option to disable targetting leap skill.
There is an option, just toggle all the targeting assist functions in your options window. This will allow you to just leap forward at your intended direction. Skills that need a target to activate (mainly, mesmer skills) still need a target to activate.
What i mean is that skill should ignore target and leap at max range to the direction your character facing.
Usually when I use heart seeker in pvp if enemy were kiting .It will always miss because heart seeker will land in front of where target was 0.3 second ago.
And when play living Story as Caithe her version of heart seeker always leap at max range hitting anything on the path which I think more consistence.

I think it’s a problem with how it’s being calculated. The same issue occurs with the jump pads at tequatl and the zepherite crystals, if you’re experiencing lag the abilities won’t go the full distance.
Yep Lighting pull always kill me if I have over 400 ping.
Fast movement in this game is TERRIBLE with lag. My forward leap skills are always short. The ones that evade backward always rubber-band. The zephyrite #3 skill overshoots consistently and if there’s no room to aim far too short, I end up rolling off a cliff.
I once fell off the Zephyr Sanctum in the Labyrinthine Cliffs going after a vista, waypointed on the way down because it’s a really long fall, and then rubber-banded back from the waypoint to fall the rest of the way and need to WP again when I died.
I didn’t have this problem at release, even when I was playing on EU servers with higher ping, and it seemed to appear after some updates and stick around ever since. And interestingly, teleport skills don’t have the problem, aside from that one time I WP’d and I think even then it’s only because I was falling. I suspect at some point they changed the way the game keeps track of our movement or something, and it doesn’t like latency at all.
