What is going on here? There is literally no point to buying the shoulders. Why isn’t the little part that drapes over the shoulders considered the shoulder skin? I mean, either make that part unassociated with the chest or give us a different shoulder skin.

I mean, the chest, legs, and head are fine, but what kind of laziness went into this skin set? The shoulders and gloves are a complete waste. I feel like I just bought half the pieces of armor. The gloves would even be okay if whatever the hell it’s supposed to be was even visible. It quite literally looks like I bought a glove skin that’s just a dot.

There is no point to buying the shoulders if you are after purely cosmetics.

This isn’t the only set with this type of issue.

I shrugged and considered it money saved.

Actually the shoulders do have their own skin – you can see it if you place them on another armour set (that isn’t the Orchid set). It’s just that the Orchid set has the ‘shoulders’ built into the rest of the main chest piece. Presumably it was too difficult to have them as a piece separate from the main body and still have them move/behave in the same way.

It’s not laziness, the skin does have it’s own skin, there were just obviously decisions that went into the overall design of the armour that made this a necessity.

The problem is that you can’t “mix and match” that chest with anything. It will cover up whatever shoulders/mantle you put on. I had wanted to weart hat chest piece with the TA mantle – I thought it would look awesome, and surprise surprise, after buying the TA mantle I realized it was blossoms wasted because the orchid chest makes the TA mantle invisible.

Yeah the fact that the chest overrides all shoulders is kind of annoying :/
