Q:

I would like to simply put a complaint out there about the outrageous cost of the Whisper’s Secret armor and weapons and the fact that they are soul bound upon acquire, I spent a lot of gold to unlock the collection just to be able to destroy it , come on guys you could at least allow us to forge or salvage this to recoup some of the funds spent…

That’s how all armor/weapon collections are.

That is the case for many skins.

You can sell cultural armor back to the vendor for a reduced price, recoupping some of the money you spent (not all, not half, but some, like 10% I think), anyway, it makes sense you could do the same with order armor and weapons, but I’m not sure if that’s the case.

I think they did it on purpose, so getting them all is actually an achievement and so it works as a gold sink. It is annoying to buy a skin only to trash it immediately, but that’s the way most of them work.

At least we got the wardrobe before we got the collection achievements – otherwise you’d have to buy it and then store it in your bank until you wanted to use it, or trash it and buy another one if you ever decided to use it.
