So this is just something i’ve wondering while ive been enjoying the very difficult game of bloodborne. But do you guy’s think anet notices a change in players logging in every day after a sweet AAA title release?

Depends highly on how close the tripple A titles genre is to GW2. While it is likely that an interesting title will draw players temporarly (as is for every other game) this would be less of an issue for a title from an opposite genre.

Say Bloodborne or Pillars of Eternity being both roleplaying games they might draw more players than say a new Call of Duty. This should be valid if said titles are equally successful. Ofcorse a titles that sells 5 million copies might outperform a title that sells 500 thousand copies even if the genre is different.

As far as MMOs go, new MMOs or expansions to other MMOs usually are in direct competition and might draw players permanently. Hence it never being a good idea to release to close to a WoW expansion for example.

I can’t play it because it’s racist against PC gamers. Oh well, saves me some dosh for things like MKX on the way.

I’m curious though if Bloodborne is harder/easier than DS2 since they made it much easier than DS1.
GW2 shoulda brought back Super Adventure Box: Prepare to Die Edition to celebrate Bloodbornes release as well as the DS2 remake (which won’t be a PC racist and fixes what consoles watered down and ruined).
