Pet project: Outfit overhaul.
Outfit dyes still global
Pet project: Outfit overhaul.
I’d also like them saved. As it is now I keep an Outfit Dyes Word document, sorted out by alt name, and any outfit I’m likely to have them don next gets a list of the colors used. At least I can swap semi-quickly by checking my list and typing in the dye names in the search field, but it’s a far cry from one-touch swapping. I also tend to find a dye scheme that works well enough across multiple outfits for one alt so I get a few things I can change them to without having to hunt and peck the dye choices. I * the ones that they might actually wear other than as a player joke. Some alts get a scheme for every outfit, others just the ones I didn’t wince and toggle off the moment I saw them worn. I also tend to certain hue palettes for each alt.

I’ve wanted this since forever.

I agree.
This is the main reason I’ve only bought 2 outfits. I have a hard enough time finding dye schemes that work for both of those (and on some characters I want to use the Royal Guard and Hexed outfits too), most of the time I have to settle for something that looks good on the outfit I use most and ok on one or two of the others.
I sometimes think about buying another outfit for more variety, then I remember that I’d have to settle for a dye scheme that looks ok at best and it just doesn’t seem worth the money.
(While we’re on the subject second on my outfit wish list is the return of the keyboard shortcut to switch between them and our armour, I don’t really understand why it was removed when the wardrobe was introduced but it was really helpful.)
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Yes. Exactly. This feature would be so useful. Especially when you have most of the dyes — it’s a huge amount to go through. And you can only save 8 favorites. The way they are now is so cumbersome.
Why not have a lock/unlock symbol beside the outfit. Lock: those colors are locked for that outfit on that character. Unlock: dyes are now global (or as they are now).
…And I wish they would stop releasing new outfits in the gem store but NOT having them ready in the hero preview. Why does this keep happening?
I second the request. Save colors per outfit, please.
