Outfits: a thought.
I personally like them as you can change your appearence quickly when you get bored without spending any kind of currency. The increasing diversity of them makes it even better as there are less chances to see 2 people wearing the same outfit.
I also agree they could make them different for each race but without increasing their cost (ie wedding outfit for 1k gems…). On the other hand, humans usually have much nicer skins than others, and it’s also good to be able to wear a heavy looking armor on a caster character.
I’m also one of those who think buying gems with real money is too expensive for what you can buy then. Like an outfit is 10€, that’s twice the price I’d be willing to pay for it. Should cost 500gems… (Just like the other stuff in the store imo)
My main wish is for light, medium and heavy all to release at the same time. Similar to when the flame sets (yes they were actually armor sets.) released. Daydreamer for example… finery=light. can’t think of one=medium. guardsman=heavy
I’d also like to see more themed, finish the Gods and then go into elements (other than fire)
Are you asking for weight-specific outfits or for three different outfits per release?
The former means that people that want a different weight look (battlemage, froofy warrior, whatever) can’t get it. The latter means three times as much work (and likely three times as many gems to complete the set, which doesn’t bother me but could hurt some wallets too much). Let’s look at your premise, though. “Outfits are easier than armor, so please triple the output of them.” That’ll triple the time to make them, triple the time between releases, and bring them up into the resource-use range of making armor after all, thus removing the whole point of their being easier. While I’d love more customization and variation, I think I’d rather it came as armor than as outfits. I’m pretty sure the same team makes both, right? Let’s keep their time balanced
@Pomdepin: I do like the racial variants we get in Cook’s and Wedding (and in the never released Scholar and Smith). 1000 gems is fine for something that elaborate, in my opinion. Perhaps you can spend the amount of RL cash you think appropriate and buy gems with gold for the rest? I couldn’t do that, I am not loaded down with gold, but a lot of people manage it somehow.
