Just was curious as to how people’s characters are developing. I remember like a week after the release having a post about your character but most of us were wearing the same armor since we were all lowbies for the most part.

So i want to see what look/styles people have cultivated in the month and some change time we’ve had to wander around Tyria.

I took a shine to the dredge look minus the vader helm >.>

I’ve been playing different characters at a brisk pace, so sadly I won’t be able to participate in this thread.

Quality is a bit rubbish and looks really off to me since I have to up the gamma to compensate for my monitor’s placement, but eh…

Actually found a decent combo of some of the Dungeon armour I’d prefer to get, but still can’t force myself to set foot into those things. :-/
Never really liked the Ithas longbow, but it beats the Pearl skin and it’s a free transmute, so meh. Only have 5Øs as it stands, so it won’t be getting upgraded anytime soon.

The first picture is my warrior in her “glass cannon” set. I use that for farming DEs, and in some dungeons where I feel more comfortable and can rely less on Toughness in keeping my butt alive.

The second and third pictures show her in the Orrian set. This is the set I normally wear in dungeons along with the Priory shield and a Rare sword that I have yet to replace. Personally, I have a penchant for collecting fancy shields. I could recall in my WoW days that I would have two bank tabs full of fancy shields of various levels— it’s the only piece of gear I would never disenchant. If anything, I would probably continue that trend and buy a Shield from each of the dungeon vendors and store them in a dedicated bank tab.

Lvl 80 Warrior – mixed exotics.

Well i got two 80 atm. Playing this one to get atleast 40-50 gold before working on my alt. So here he is:)

Human mesmer, still working on my exotics. Strong Masque, Cabalist’s top and boots, Furnace leggings, Inquisitor’s Gloves, and pretty feathery Epaulets (my favourite shoulders!).

I can relate more than you know. My little pally tank collected all types of shields from wow, but my absolute favorite was always the Aldori Legacy Defender. It’s still transmogged on her to this day even though I haven’t played wow in months.

Great post! It’s fun seeing how everyone decks out their characters. I’d like to see more positive, sharing type posts like this one in the future.

I´m a fan of elegant quasi real swords. All these Final Fantasy pie servers are annoying.

Front and back of my charr.
(gear used: Sorrows embrace helmet, chestpiece, mantle. Citadel of flame Legs [which is why my tail is on fire] gloves, and boots. All light armor as my charr is an ele.)

And while you cant really see it. Those boots are closed toe! Making them the only closed toe light charr boots ive ever found.

Now if only I could find a good industrial dagger skin besides incinerator…

This is not the way I wanted to look but it’s how I’m rolling until I can acquire a more leafy set of leather.

My human thief and asura elementalist:

The human is wearing mostly blood dye and has purple breeze for the feather and belt (taro works well too) and oil slick for the boots and gloves. He also has lemon tint on the small metal parts of the boots.

The asura is wearing celestial with mithril accents.

Between levels 55 and 60 (current level). Played a bit over 104 hours with this character. Not sure if I’m leveling slowly, or if that is about the norm. A bit of a mix and match between crafted gear and TP. All has been transmuted.

At level 80. Very happy with Dhuumseal.

I’ve really only worked on two characters. I have one of each class, but so far I have the most fun playing these two. First is my Mesmer, second is my Thief.

This is my Mesmer a few days ago. His boots and shoulders have changed to oilslick and gold, to match the Ebon Hawk weapons.
