… Why is there no direct trading? Like simple trade windows, which used to be in Guild Wars.
Now, I don’t say “remove TP” because TP is very fine. But if you want to trade direct item with someone and get something in exchange, you have to either post it on TP which has no sense OR directly mail it and hope the other person is trustworthy enough to make an exchange.
It functions in almost every MMO, why is there no trade window in GW2?

you can trade directly – just stand in what used to be our beloved LA and offer to sell what you have to someone else.
The good news is you don’t pay the TP. The bad news is that you have no recourse if someone just takes your item and doesn’t pay you – or the reverse. LoL

It is as intended – they want all trading to go through the TP as much for player security to prevent scamming and it also doubles up as said gold sink. This has been directly communicated by the economist of the game and will probably never be a feature they add.
