Guild Wars 2

My PC died at the end of last month and I missed ALL of this content. (sorta why I am against temporary content; honestly the worst idea ever made in a game’s history. Besides thinking Diablo 3 was a good idea)… anyway… I digress.

My concern is not for the Living Story nonsense, but for all the things I missed. Tons of AP, unique skins, and gold farms. As a particularly casual PvEer, I never had gold because COFZZzZZZzzzz. So, missing out of good gold farms, it perturbs me to say the least.

Is there ANYTHING I can do at all with the last few updates, or am I screwed due to a terrible design philosophy?

The point is, you don’t really miss anything because there’s always something to do. You move and evolve with things. Sure you’re behind in gold acquisition, but that would be true whether content was permanent or temporary. I mean if your machine broke and there was permanent content left behind, at the end of the day would you really have more gold? Not if you played roughly the same number of hours.

Anyway, the farming is relatively good on the zone wide events now, and there’s still time to get in and do stuff. In fact, all the achievements from the beginning of the month (August 9th update) are still attainable.

I’m not sure you missed as much as you think (though you will have to rush some stuff).

Did you last play more than 2 weeks before the 9th (the election?). If so, you missed that. Otherwise, everything that started running/availability on the 9th is still running or available.
