I’d like to see the system that was in GW2 a few days ago. That worked pretty well.
Maybe they could add in an optional tutorial mission for combo fields.

The new User Guide is a nice touch for me personally. Being able to find POI and Vistas a bit easier is a good thing. The only thing i’d like to see different is unlocking weapons a bit quicker. True a lot of people don’t fully understand their builds or how to best use each skill and when is best time to dodge etc… you can see that in PvP for proof but I think the new loot system really help you to find the best build wether its P/P or V/T the skills being locked just feels a bit too much. The leveling system by itself meaning how fast you level is great! So anyone making an alt can appreciate that add on. Just a few ideas that have been going around my head lately. Also the new way of doing PS is BIG YES!!!!!!!! Finally some directions to when would be a good time do run PS rather then wait till level 80 and do it all in one go X.X

Personal story quests always told you the recommended level for doing them. There was usually only 1 or 2 levels between them, so it was a nice continuous story up to level 80. Now you complete the story quests in the space of about 2 levels and then for 8 more you just grind.

Also unlock all our utilities earlier, like level 5 BAM, all utility slots available and 5 skill points to be able to use the whole first set, give us the ability to experiment with them, try them in different situations play around with our builds.
Customizable toolbars for the kittening win .. it would be awesome if you also gave us an additional 3 utility slots to throw around in a toolbar .. this game does not have enough skills to use I’m sorry but I feel so limited even with my level 80 … so little customization.
Feel free to just make a list from lvl0 to lvl80, even with new stuff you think should be added. Currently this is the list (taken from the new feature patch):

Yeah same thing different name (level req same as now only different now is you can’t have 3 lvl 80 with you to do full story). they changed the way the PS are ran so its still feels like its continual.

The level requirement is not the same at all, nor is it continual. You don’t even GET a story until level 10, then once you finish that you have to wait till you’re level 20 to unlock the next few missions. This is a terrible way to tell stories or structure quests in any video game, or anywhere for that matter.
Imagine reading a book and at the end of each chapter you’re FORCED to just sit there for twenty minutes until the next chapter is available, even though the whole book is right there, in your hands. Imagine watching something on TV, when suddenly bam, off it goes, and you just have to sit there watching ads for five minutes. No one enjoys that, it’s not fun.

In old system it gave you a req you went in got owned and left great way to feel like your in the story. New PS you go when you are for sure 100% ready to win the game. OR in old system get some buddies in lvl 80 to run you through the whole story :/. You can’t read a book without first knowing how to read. Well maybe if a friend reads it to you it can be a good book…

Yeah, all of this should be unlocked at level 1 .. we should get a skill point per level .. that’s the only limiting factor that should exist, 5 skill points for the first set of utilities to unlock the next row and so on and the more energetic player can go about grabbing all the extra skill points they want travelling around the map or looting the skill things off champ bags .. why limit us!!?? Give us the tools as early as possible to figure out our way and be able to customize in our own way!!

And you can’t play video games without being able to play video games. I think there’s your problem.
We don’t need all the words in our books replaced with pictures just because some people didn’t finish school.
I think the leveling system that existed when the game was released was fine.
The concerns about new players not understanding the game could have been simply addressed with a big optional tutorial instance. The instance could teach the player about all of the game mechanics and specifics for their class, demonstrate most of what they’ll need to know.

Could have been a good alternative but at the same time I hope we can still keep the speed of leveling. Which is faster in this new update.
