PLEASE help me understand this?!
There is only 59 on the tp if i bought 58 then they would cost 20g each, that would only cost like 900g or somet, cba maths.
Most people can affect the price, some dude probs just bought like 10
Okay, that makes sense. But… the bids also spiked up on them. Is that also because they must have seen the price rise?
Well if you were selling one, and the bids are 7g but the buy price is 12g, even people who usually don’t bother will just list it instead. So yea usually they go up together, not 100% of the time tho.
some dude probs just bought like 10
Some chick did. I picked up 5 or 10 last night when they were 7gd a piece.
I sorry:/
Pretty much what they said. The truth is that MMORPG economies work like miniature “real world” economies, and that is ruled by the simple “Supply & Demand” formula.
Okay…
Lets go back a few steps first. I have been in this game since Aug 25th 2012, everyday, love it. Seen many things, crafted many things, made tons of money and lost tons of money, farmed this, farmed that and pay attention to the TP best I can.
Firstly, I never understood why T5 Mats, such as Large Bone, Large Claw, Potent Blood, etc etc etc… tanked in price post-HoT and it took me almost 6 months to find out the reason why on that.
Now…. I have been collecting Freshwater Pearls and Maguuma Lillies while doing my Flax farm everyday and if there is one thing… ONE thing I hate, is when the price is one number this time yesterday and suddenly jumps 50% in price today.
Last night, Lillies were selling for 7g a piece. Tonight, they are selling for 11g a piece, and usually when something like this happens, it means someone apparently knows something I do not so…. Can… anyone help me out here?
I try to stay up to par when it comes to the trading post. but I am finding myself falling 50 steps behind when something changes. Makes me feel dumb…
it means somebody was rich and lazy and bought all the 7-10g ones
cmon its not rocket science, nor is it a conspiracy. people buy stuff. markets fluctuate. it happens. its normal and healthy.
