Sylvari serving Mordremoth.

Norn serving Jormag, aka Sons of Svanir

Charr not known Kralkatorrik does not discriminate between races

Asura not known Primordus maybe . or that might be dwarves

Humans not known but could easily have been zhaitan.

Serving Mordremoth is a matter of being tainted. The nightmare court doesn’t serve Mordremoth.

Serving Jormag was choice of some Norn because Norn are always trying to get stronger.

Will Anet go this route into some type of story? Is it too simple?

Problem is that our toons are ghosts. We have no choice, the character system has been scrapped, they just trhow down our throats their bland storyline. We have no impact, their living world is a stale world. So no, i don’t think they will let us do a choice of that type. They don’t want our characters to have a life in their game, we watch a wannabe tv show.

That route leads to open world PvP in all zones. If they wanted that they probably wouldn’t have bothered with WvW.

Having meaningful choices also leads to having many branches very quickly. You can take the ‘all roads lead to Rome’ approach so that all choices eventually converge before branching again but that also means that ultimately your choices didn’t really matter since the outcome is the same regardless.

With all the other races that could be corrupted by dragons, till now, Syilvari that had an immunity. Looking at HoT, Mordremoth doesn’t have to corrupt a race. The Syilvari were already his. The Mordrem are completely new creatures that it has created as well as changing the environment for them to live in.
