NO.
I always find raising level cap as a lazy way of implementing ways to further a game content. There are probably more meaningful ways to expand game AND enjoyment than making players once again scramble for XP grind. For me, new skills, new mechanics that can alter the way you play, new race (and lore) and new professions (3rd heavy armor class maybe so all 3 types have 3 classes each? :P) that adds to the existing dymanic are better ways for expanding the game than raising level cap.
Additionally, for new players/toons you could add stuff for them too so it isnt too dull being a lowbie. Yeah sure lvl 80 is where most things are but nothing wrong with making the journey there more fun yea? :P
No. I would have type it in caps, but I don’t want to be rude. There is zero reason for a cap increase. If anything I would rather see more starter to mid range areas introduced, or just more of a saturation of those areas with new events and create more level 80 areas. This is one of those rare MMO’s where I have more fun after hitting cap than the journey. Making all of the level 80 exotics obsolete is a waste imo.

As long as it is accompanied by new content, and expanded traits/weapon abilities/utilities. Being the same level forever gets stale after a while.

I found a way to keep players at level 80 and raise the level cap.
No, I’m rather pleased with the 80 cap. In the future with higher level content, perhaps, but they’d have to figure out how to adjust current highest tier equipment to compensate so that perfect sword you might have doesn’t become 10 levels from perfect or on the other hand raise to lvl 90 and then unusable by the char. until they gain them.
It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

Actually I’d like to see an expansion like Eye of the North where all the zones are max level and low-level characters get upscaled to level 80 (like in WvW) so they don’t have to grind all the way to 80 to start seeing the expansion’s content.
If will also be nice if the expansion doesn’t require you to have completed your personal story to go on with the expansion’s story, because between Trehearne stealing the show and being forced to run a dungeon to finish your story, a lot of people (including myself) have completely given up on their character’s story.

No, most certainly.
Even if they add Cantha and/or Elona many years in the future, they can keep us at level 80, just as they did with GW1. Those new area would have their own high level areas, and we’ll be down-leveled for the “beginner areas” of those new regions.
