I want to buy the harp and many more instruments but I do not want to have to spend weeks away from grinding to learn how to play 1 song and I know many others would like if you guys could make an instrument mod to allow users to play music through the instruments that they bought this would be a great add on and I would pay easily $15 for this option as I want to buy the harp but i also do not want to end up not being able to do anything with it. Please take this suggestion into thought Anet I promise many many players will utilize this feature if you can make it for us

A long time ago, I made a thread suggesting that instruments be able to play midi files like they do in lotro. Anything like this would be awesome great incentive to actually buy gw2 instruments.

Musical instruments are the one exception to the no-macro rule. Definitively stated by the devs, you can macro the music. There are large libraries of music out there that you can make use of.

I don’t have exact links because I have not yet wanted to serenade the world; it hasn’t come up in RP. However I am confident that a bit of googling will lead you to the macro libraries so you can harp away as you desire.

Yeah, as the others have said, macros are allowed and just in case you’re have a slight doubt:

(Automation is still against the rules, unless you are using it to play music in-game)
