I’ve played since day 1, and really had few complaints up until this weekend. After the debacle, did the One Time Event do more harm than good? I tried to participate Friday & Saturday, but after the catastrophe I completely gave up and did nothing on Sunday. What kind of message did this send to the “Free Trial Accounts” given for this weekend? Speaking from personal feelings, after completing two L80’s and hoping this “expansion” was going to give more enjoyment, I feel let down and have kind of lost the “thrill” of GW2 after the event. I’m not saying I won’t play anymore, or won’t come back, but I really feel no overwhelming desire to continue playing. The event was horribly planned, horribly executed and caused so much frustration across the board that I really wonder how they plan to deal with the PR fallout. I have played MMO’s for years (since UO & DAOC) and can’t remember this much global frustration for any event AFTER initial release of a game. Initial release is always a crap shoot, but with ANet’s experience and 2months after release, I feel there was no viable excuse for the shiite show that was “EPIC” Lost Shores Update. I guess I’m just very disappointed that they would even release something this unprepared…

Hmmm…it ran great on my server, and people were raving about it in map chat.
