Is it me or could PVE daily rewards use a bit of an update? For a lot of people their characters are already 80, so writs of xp aren’t that good, not to mention you need 20 of them to make a tome, and you can get tomes faster and easier through both PVP and WvW reward tracks anway. Spirit shards don’t really have a dump unless you’re making legendary weapons so there’s really no point in consuming tomes for those (not when you get them from all kinds of other sources on the side), and for karma? There’s really nothing worth getting from Karma at this point except mass buying cheap armor pieces to throw into the the forge to get salvagable armor pieces for crafting mats (because you can’t salvage anything you buy with Karma themselves)

So when dailies pop up for me I pretty much ignore the PVE daily achievements even though I mostly play PVE and would prefer not to play PVP.. the rewards from PVP and WvW are just more worth it.

All my characters that I want at 80 are 80, so in order to use PVE daily “rewards” I’d have to spend money to buy another character slot. Not much of a reward if you have to spend money to claim it. Sounds more like a Nigerian prince lottery reward.

I guess most people are still leveling characters and haven’t hit the same wall I have.

I totally agree with your point about scrolls of experience. To anyone with maxed out characters, the scrolls are virtually worthless. I like getting Karma, but I am a bit of a currency hoarder.

Yes, the PVP and WVW rewards for dailies are much better at this point that the PVE rewards. I’ve completed the Dungeon gear collections for 4 dungeons using reward tracks so far, and I’m 2/3 done with a 5th track. With both PVP and WVW tracks, it’s more convenient than doing the dungeons themselves. And if I need Geodes, why bother wasting time in Dry Top when I can get more faster through the Maguma Waste PVP track?

I like some of the Daily PvE rewards. The gathering ones are easy and mats are always good. WB Daily rewards a Rare. Mystic Forge awards a Mystic Coin. Ascended mats are always good for the Eaters.

So, it’s not all bad.

I usually do a mix of WvW and PvE

The Daily X Events Completer achievements seem to be particularly unrewarding for the time they often take.

You are overlooking the fact you don’t get XP playing WvW and PvP. The only way to level up is through the Tomes of Knowledge. If you add the map discovery, if the case, events, mob, etc, PvE is much more rewarding and easier than the other modes.

You have to think that the dailies are balanced according to the mode. PvE is more rewarding than PvP and WvW

XP is pretty useless for someone in my position is what I’m saying. I have a stack of leveling tomes. I am not planning on making a second of classes I already have, so they just sit there
