Ive played 143 game won 76 of those. Now most of the time I get at least 2 badges from being a top player but yet my skills rating wont move past 700 this is broke . I have people in my frinds list that have 1800 skill rating and they lost way more then they won

Idk how the EU ladders are but in NA there are currently 0 players in the top 250 with a 50/50 win/loss record, let alone a losing record and that goes down all the way to the 1750’s. So I’m gonna say a lie.

Every player in the top ranks of that screenshot has a significantly higher win to loss ration than 50:50. Closer to 80:20, in fact.

Either show your “friends” with the 50:50 win:loss, or accept that the numbers don’t support you, plz. HTH, HAND.

I agree. Some games i’ll come out with nearly every single top medal. And barely get over 10 points. Yet when I lose I can expect to lose close to 20 points at least. My current win/loss record is a bit above 50%. But I doubt I should be sitting around t1 silver and t3 bronze. Not sure how were being scored but if the stats are suppose to correlate from what I’ve seen its not doing so. I love the way this new season works. I love the rewards. It never takes me long to get into a match. MOST matches are close for me. But the scoring is a bit random and unforgiving right now in my opinion.

This is because you don’t understand how the glicko algorythme (what is used to calculate your skill rating) works.
The algorythme doesn’t care about your w/l ratio. It care about your current skill rating, the skill rating of your opponent, and the outcome of the match.
If you’re a 700, play against other 700’s and keep a 50% win ratio, you are where you belong. If a 1800 is playing against other 1800’s and keep a 50% win ratio, he is where he belong.
In reality, players at 1800 and above usually have above 50:50 w/l ratio because there is not enough 1800’s and tends to be placed against opponents of lower skill rating and thus, are expected to win more than lose.
