Really? So i should kill myself because i didn’t learn to play a guardian,necromancer,mesmer or engineer efficiently and i was playing other classes with the hope that they’ll ever get better since they are incredibly bad at this point.

I don’t know whats up with this, i honestly expected paid tournaments to come atleast few months in the future after the other 4 classes i didn’t mention get some boosts , because they are so much worse in pvp (that would be elementalist, warrior, thief, ranger).
Currently these classes (besides thief) have barely 1 or 2 viable builds and everything else is useless, and elementalist defensive build isnt even viable if you can just get a guardian instead of it

and for the record, if you don’t believe me you can just go make a survey @ GWstaff, see how many of the 4 FOTM classes there are on free tournament finals, because as far as i remember in 90% of the free tournament finals – i end up fighting these four classes which have incredibly huge advantage over the other four

Im disappointed.
Paid tournaments while stuff like this exists
> elementalist 25 arcana trait = ‘chance to apply condition on critical hits’ = the chance is about 20% (only on critical hits) and it applies a condition that lasts 2 seconds (burn, bleed,weakness and some other stuff)
> elementalist 25 fire trait = 5% more damage to burning enemies

lets compare those to say a thief
thief 25 deadly arts trait > 10% damage on people with conditions, how does that even make sense? its infinitely much better than ele fire trait

warrior still has so many bugs such as traits not working(the weapon swap trait which doesnt work half of the time, or the broken vengeance or trying to hit when you use rage skills with sword and then swap weapons, etc, the bugs warrior has are countless)

the traits are imbalanced, illogical.
the classes are imbalanced, illogical, you can’t even begin to compare elementalist frost bow skill (which does super low damage with super slow animations) to say a guardian’s shield of the avenger or wall of reflection. Both of these skills can negate over 100k dmg in WvW and completely destroy ranged chars in spvp since in there every second counts and if they cant do dmg for the 30 seconds the shield is up, then what? and look those arent even top skills. Im not even talking about guardian’s stand your ground breakstun that gives 5 sec of stab/ret and has just 24s cd with traits

the stats are imbalanced, toughness is superior to precision, tank stats are so much better than dps stats (mostly due to soldier amulet which gives power vita tough and makes tanks hit hard while still being tanks)

the boons are illogical, warrior with all its 22 utlity skills doesnt have a single protection or retaliation buff, which makes everyone attempting to play warrior tank a failure since they are so much worse than even ranger defensive builds

protection is utterly overpowered and not all classes can get equal amounts of it even if they tried, what were you even thinking? 33% less damage and make it permanently available on classes such as guardians? sure it makes a lot of sense

retaliation is the worst of them all tho, glass cannons already suffer so much in this game because the defensive stats are already superior to the offensive ones, as glass cannon you give your survivability to do damage.. and then you meet a guy with retaliation (permanent retaliation by the way, guardians in spvp can get over 40 sec of ret even without greatsword). I don’t think you need to be a genius to see how a buff such as retaliation completely destroys the game and promotes only 1 type of builds while it nerfs others so much.

I am truly disappointed.
