Hello,
I would like to know you opinion, what`s better for staying alive in wvwvw and helping his allies? Can the same be applied to dungeon parties?
I understand that warr has some offensive buffs for his allies and the guardian some defensive ones. Is it that simple?

Thank you for your time.

Guardians all the way.

Warriors suck at support. Anything Warrior can support, guardian does better.

5x Warrior, 5x Ranger, 4x Elementalist, 4x Engineer,
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant

Pretty much, Warriors can add more offensive capabilities along with minimal defensive. Guardians can offer some in the way of offensive capabilities but really shine with the defensive ones. Drawing conditions from allies is a huge ability the guardian can use. A plethora of healing abilities is nice as well. What’s especially nice, is that some of the guardians weapon skills, along with most of their utility skills, have something to offer for a group, other than massive damage spikes. I personally prefer Guardian over Warrior when it comes to party play.

Guardian. While, say, shout warriors can add some benefit to a party, the guardian can be a boon factory. Guardian would have to win here. Though I sometimes wonder why killing an enemy quickly is not always considered group support.

There is offensive support & defensive support. Guardians are excellent at defensive support.
