Past living story rewards not in wardrobe.
That would fix so many of the issues I had with items I deleted before the Wardrobe came out. There are so many I would love to have back again. Thing is, I ended up having to re-earn a lot of them during the Festival of the Four Winds, but there are still some missing that I earned but weren’t listed then or now for laurels either.
At the time I deleted them, I was running out of bank space and didn’t think they would add a wardrobe in which I could more safely delete them. I was wrong. For the most part, I sort of let it go since I don’t expect them to cater to cases like that necessarily, but it would be a welcome sight to have some of the things I deleted back, including some things that weren’t skins like Marjory’s Journal.
And this is why in an MMO, you keep everything. I kept both my books. As I liked both skins.
I don’t see them giving them back, as they want people to have “exclusive” skins.

well the book i can understand you should get the earlier one if u have the completed one, with eternity if it was the same you shouldent unlock the sunrise twilight and pre if you bought it.

The problem there is that, you didn’t merge the first one to get the complete. They where two separate items. Unlike Eternity, where you combined 2 skins to make a 3rd(technically it’s 4 skins if you add in the precursors.) they game has no way to track this. I’m sure.if they had the time they could find a way to flag accounts to.find out who has the complete edition and reward the normal book. But I think that would take a lot of work. It would be easier to just re add the quest, but then it takes away the “exclusive” skin that ANet want people to have.

Same boat but for the Shattered Dragon wings. I’d love to get these back since, as you said, the game knows I earned them.
I’ll be annoyed if they brought back other unobtainable skins because people moaned about not realising they were being removed, and didn’t atleast add these to the laurel vendor.
The book would be tricky but any of the ones that were linked to an achievement should be able to work like the LS2 achievement unlocks.
If I recall correctly, you needed to have completed the green book to get the final one. People have emailed support and gotten it mailed to them.

TLDR: The game knows I earned certain rewards, why are they not auto unlocked in the Wardrobe?
The wardrobe has a certain set of mechanisms for determining unlocks, and having thrown away the skin before the wardrobe came into being pretty much eliminates them all.
You’re in luck, though, because you have proof that you had the skin at some point in time, and it’s account-bound. You can make a case to Support about giving you a copy of the skin since you deleted it. Your chances are pretty good.
On a side note, the backpack consumables entered the api recently. Not sure what exactly that means, because I’ve been holding on to my green one for forever.

Yes you do recall correctly if my memory serves. I was on my way to the last person for the final book when the game kicked me out to update. However i had that first book, and when i deleted that character(My first) it went with it because it was and is soulbound. Emailed support and got it back though, about…oh..4 months ago?
So maybe…maybe someday i will get that final book…Maybe..i was so close.. T.T
Im in the same boat with the witch hat. I have the gw2 celebration hat and wizard hat l, yet I had the witch hat for awhile and wardrobe never gave it to me

I kept so many of my skins, but a few I wasn’t able to keep for various reasons.

If you had it when the wardrobe was implemented, it’s probably still on one of your characters. Talk to the black lion armor guy in one of the cities and see.
