Patch Notes
Second.
I always like to read the notes, even if they’re kind of unimportant.
When there aren’t any, it’s kind of annoying. Feels like we patched for nothing.
“Thirded.”
However, my guess regarding the notes are either:
1. Routine maintenance or emergency maintenance.
or
2. Miscellaneous bug fixes or exploit fixes.
Even if this is the case, Id like to know that its the case and not be wondering if something significant has changed that I should be aware of.
5th’d, you’d think they know when they’re about to load a patch, they could at least prep the notes ahead of the patch.
Yes please! I hope this would be standard practice like most software updates, and should be linked on the launcher upon login right after a patch. May not be much, but I’d still like to know what was in that 30mb I just downloaded. Thanks!
well considering we have seen “This update changed no content” With obvious changes to content, I do not have much faith in Anet’s ability to be honest with the players anymore.
Even if it is just minor bug fixes, I get amusement out of reading them. There was a fixed typo in NPC dialog in Iron Marches? Cool. There was a clipping plane that got realigned in Rata Sum? Awesome. I like to know these things. It lets me know that things are being done and that there is attention being paid to the small details.

The only thing I noticed was the ring vendor in Lost Shores is back.
1000 karka shells = event ring (Canach’s Folly vendor)
agree totally there needs to be more information.

I like to read patch notes too. I guess it’s a habit for me. Aside from that, there are plenty of typos I’d like to see fixed whether it’s the description in all consumables (the word “consumable” has no space between it and the period at the end of the description) or the grammar/spelling issue with the Bloodstone Shard (“A” orb of pure power?? It’s “An” orb of pure power).
I really want to hear about the bug/exploit fixes, or whatever. They need to be better about this. If they fixed something like that I want to know about it.

Thank you Rhik. They should make the patch notes easier to find, not tack them onto a thread about patch notes from 2-3 updates ago.

So, CoE path 1 still isn’t fixed? :/
