i’m working on the bifrost. i’m not a guy that lives 24/7 on his pc.. i farm every day 1h. i make 5-10/day. its going pretyy slow but i dont give up. but cmon, all the prices of precursors are so kitten high :o they are going up by day.. 1 week a go the legend whas 700g / 620g buy order. now its 700+g buy order. 100g up on 1 week time..

i’m gone farm for it cause its the only way to get one :s i hate the RNG way.. u just need luck with it..
plzz anet make a change on that.. lets make precursors craftable, with dungeons gifts mats and some other things u need to do ingame it self. not only farming or testing your luck..

and a second thing, make legendary’s un sellable. thats also a big mistake.. thats all ty

I believe it was stated at some point that precursors will be obtainable in ways outside of the toilet or TP, or the very off-chance it drops for you.

I have no source, but I’m pretty sure this was stated at some point. I think it is a 2014 plan though.

Inflation goes faster than your capability to accrue gold.

Watch the price, though.. as buy orders fill, the buy price decreases. You must not have seen it a few weeks ago when it was over 800g. I ended up buying one that someone posted for 740g, because at that point saving 40g by placing a buy offer seemed trivial in regards to how long I had been waiting to buy one. Unless we get a sudden influx of Legends, the price is probably going to sit in the 700-800 range.

If you run dungeons a lot, you can spend your tokens on exotic staffs to try the mystic forge occasionally. And if you don’t get the legend, you will still end up with something sellable.

I remember when The Legend supply was bought up to 1k g+ at some point, that fluctuation in price that you saw over the last week is normal for a highly desirable precursor.

People will say inflation or manipulation.
But a couple weeks ago it went as low as 6xx g iirc. In fact all the precursor’s price went low in october. It’s just going back to where it was.

Let assume that if precursor’s prices drop to 100-200 gold right now. Then at least half of the population would run around with legendary. Would you give a kitten about legendary if that happened ? As much as I agree that it should not be so luck based, it’s not legendary if anybody can have it (unless they pay 500-700 bucks for it which is stupid but beneficial for the game ). So even if there will be a way to craft precursor, it should be so hard that some people would still wanna test their luck on the toilet.

Precursor crafting. It is coming. Originally slated for delivery by the end of the year, they may or may not make that deadline. Per Colin, recently, right here on the boards. “Is precursor crafting going to happen” or some such thread.

As for the scavanger hunt, we were told around July ish that it was still in the works, but we’ve had no direct word if it still is.
